Ask a Question about this Product

Uniteam's H2s temporary refugee (TR) shelter system is built to operate and save lives in extreme H2s environments in onshore oil & gas exploration areas. Uniteam has for years designed and built gas tight systems for clients around the world to protect military personnel against NBC attacks and has diverted this experience into fields of proven solutions to suit offshore /onshore operations. Few, if any, companies in the world hold our extensive knowledge and experience.

Practical applications of Uniteam products

Example from ChevronTexaco’s oilfield Tengiz in Kazakhstan.

Products and Manufacture 1250 m2 GSSP Shelter

Main Systems in GSSP

  • Building structure incl. gaskets
  • Overpressure
  • HVAC incl. gas filtration
  • Gas detection
  • Airlocks

HVAC Modes of Operation

  • Normal  H2S filtration  Recirculation
  • Gas Detection System
  • H2S  CO2  Hydrocarbons  Smoke
  • Gas Detection System

The system controls the air both outside and inside, and sends the information it collects to the HVAC system.

  • External H2S sensor
  • Outside – Detector for gas.
  • Minimum sensor level is 4ppm

The gas detection system sends signals back to the HVAC system. Emergency mode shuts down the outlet air and the inlet air is routed through the filters.

Air sampling units

  • Air intake stack – Sniffer probes, suck air into the sensor in the cabinet.
  • Ventilation ducts – 1 before the filters and 1 after the filters.  Sniffer probes, suck air into the sensor in the cabinet.

Gas Filters

  • A filter contains a filter media ( there are different types for different gasses) the filter media remove the gas in question from the inlet air.
  • When the filters are full or the CO2 level inside the building reach a critical level, the filter system stops
  • Breathing air will be supplied from the stored air bank.
  • If CH4 is present filter can’t be used

Air bank

  • Breathing Air in bottles
  • Used when the filters are full, the CO2 level is too high in the shelters or CH4 is detected

Gold Unit and fans

  • Fans build up the overpressure in the gas safe shelters.

Aspirator panels

  • Electrical panel
  • Production of Gas Detection System
